Fairways and Greens!
2004 Golf Tournament A Raving Success

by Kris Strauss, OB Sports Golf Management

Highlighted by exceptional weather, a fun golf course, very supportive sponsors and the best hospitality sales and marketing execs and managers in the state, the 2004 HSMAI Golf Tournament presented by The Spa at Gainey and TPG Publications, was a rousing success. On September 21, 2004, over 100 members of HSMAI and our supporting sponsors, met at the Ocotillo Golf Resort for a fun yet competitive golf tournament. The event was very we received as there was a ton a raffle/auction item, great prizes, exquisite trophies provided by HJ Trophies and awards and of course smack talking and banter between the many teams of hospitality partners.

Not only was the event a ton of fun to play in, but this years event also had a sense of purpose as participants brought clothing items to be donated to the House of Refuge and the event net proceeds provided much needed funds to support our local, award-winning Phoenix chapter of HSMAI.

None of this would have been accomplished if not for the loyal support of our sponsors. How can we thank these sponsors? By contacting them when you or your clients have needs for their products and services (and be sure to reference the HSMAI Golf Tournament as a source of your referral).
