Each year, an HSMAI Chapter is selected to be the recipient of the Frank W. Berkman Chapter Award Program. Named the Best of the Best in chapter leadership and operations, the chapter’s programs and accomplishments serve as Best Practices for all chapters as they continue to fuel sales, inspire marketing, and optimize revenue for HSMAI members on the local level.

The 31st Annual HSMAI Frank W. Berkman Chapter Awards program was presented at the HSMAI Leadership Forum on February 8, 2011 at the PGA Golf Resort & Spa in West Palm Beach, Florida. HSMAI presented 32 “Chapter Best of the Best Awards,” recognizing the exceptional work and community contributions of 20 chapters across 12 categories. HSMAI received 104 entries from its 40 Americas Region chapters for the awards, which honor outstanding chapter achievements in hospitality marketing and sales, as well as industry best practices and innovation.
