41st Annual Auction, Fundraiser & Dinner

• Secure venue and work with communication team to get event listed on the website and early marketing started (6 months – 1 year prior to event)
  
  
• Conduct monthly committee meetings with a heavy focus on soliciting prizes and sponsors as well as increasing marketing communication about event (3 months – 6 months prior to event)
  
  
• Organize last minute details with venue, script, stage talent, prizes, etc.
  
  
• Attendance required on Tuesday prior to event and event day, which is a Friday , July 19, 2024 at The DoubleTree Resort by Hilton Scottsdale-Paradise Valley

• Our year-end event held in December, that celebrates our chapter accomplishments, our members and honors our Awards of Excellence recipients

Committee Chair: Open

• Responsible for promoting HSMAI to potential student members
• Working with these students to provide mentoring and internship opportunities

Committee Chair:

• Serves as the editorial staff for all things marketing
• Oversees the chapter website, social media, SMS communications, public relations and marketing efforts.
• Oversees the annual Frank Berkman Chapter Awards of Excellence submissions.

Time Commitment: Depending on your tasks; average 2—4 hours per week

• Plans and coordinates community service/volunteer projects throughout the year
• Serves as a liaison with HSMAI’s “Charity of the Year” — Free Arts
• Projects include the Christmas in July to benefit the kids of the Salvation Army and Holiday Caroling held in December at various convalescent homes.

• Plans and executes 4-6 education events throughout the year
• Secure venue, topic, speaker, food and beverage, audio visual, etc.
• Education topics should keep up with industry needs surrounding sales, marketing and revenue
